What a ride it’s been so far this week, here’s What a ride it’s been so far this week, here’s the latest from the crew from the past few days! 🚴‍♂️

We’ve made it to Lincoln City on the Oregon coast! Perfect blue skies, cool temps, and a few surprise climbs kept things interesting. The green farmland, mountains, and beaches all along the 101 have been incredible. We’ll be in Oregon for about three more days before rolling into California. If you ever get the chance, drive the 101 as far as you can go! 🌲🌊

Monday was another beautiful day in Oregon with temps from the low 50s to mid-60s, ideal biking weather. We cruised into Florence, a seriously cool coastal town, grabbed groceries, fixed up the bikes, and capped it off with Raleigh’s legendary spaghetti and some Curb Your Enthusiasm. Tomorrow we’re back on the 101 heading for Bandon. ☄️🍝 Stay tuned!

Weekend Recap 🚲🦀🛣️ The crew got their Weekend Recap 🚲🦀🛣️

The crew got their miles in early, enjoyed a great seafood lunch at a local spot, then played 9 holes on a beautiful course. ⛳️ To top it all off, they gathered at the RV for an incredible campfire dinner of steelhead trout, crab legs, and potatoes cooked up by chefs Raleigh and Mark, with David Hime rounding out the crew.

We’re approaching the halfway mark of the trip soon, and while each day is a grind, having this group makes it all worthwhile.

The crew will continue south along the 101, pushing hard to make it back to Texas by Sept 6! 🤠 #BrothersBike

• Camped at Nor’west RV Park outside Seattle
• Found a beautiful stay at American Heritage RV Park in Olympia
• Dinner on the water in Olympia with our good friend Alfie Treleven 🌊
• Heading next to Raymond and then to the coast to ride along the 101 🛣️

We’re riding for a cause on this journey, and ea We’re riding for a cause on this journey, and each brother has chosen a nonprofit close to their heart to honor with every mile. Today, we’re proud to spotlight who Bobby is riding for the: @MossPierattFoundation.

Formed in loving memory of John “Moss” Pieratt, Jr., the foundation was created by the Pieratt and Jenkins families to honor Moss’s life and to support critical research and awareness around Sudden Unexplained Death in Childhood (SUDC), a heartbreaking tragedy that occurs in children over the age of 12 months.
The Moss Pieratt Foundation, established in 2015, is dedicated to funding research and promoting awareness in hopes of finding answers, and one day, a cure.

Tax-deductible donations help support the work of the SUDC Foundation, bringing families answers when there are none.

Bobby’s Recap: Day 🔟 🚲 Another day on the Bobby’s Recap: Day 🔟 🚲

Another day on the road, and we’ve officially hit the 10-day mark with over 600 miles behind us! We’re now past Whitehorse and started the day with a cold, drizzly morning that turned into an absolutely perfect evening.

Lunch was at Tim Hortons, a true Canadian institution, and dinner was a highlight, thanks to Mark and Raleigh’s incredible BBQ chicken. Our campsite tonight is pretty nice, and best of all... no mosquitoes!

We’re planning for an early start tomorrow as we head to Teslin. A few prayers for clear skies would be much appreciated!

Bobby’s recap from the past few days… Hold on Bobby’s recap from the past few days… Hold on to your helmets! 🪖🚵‍♂️

Day 7:
A very interesting ride today. The big news is that we are now in Canada and all still reasonably healthy. We had some major road construction to deal with, but we made it safely to Destruction Bay. Our campsite tonight is the parking lot of a cafe and motel right off the highway. Not exactly the most scenic spot we’ve seen.

Crossing the border was a piece of cake with no delays or hassle. We ran into two other riders traveling from Fairbanks all the way down to Argentina! I can’t fathom it!

Day 8:
A very full day as we made it to Haines Junction. We had a little bit of everything—great roads, horrible dirt roads, long uphills, incredible downhills, wind in our face, wind at our back, amazing scenery, and another ugly dirt parking lot for our RV. We ended the day with a surprisingly good Chinese dinner here at our RV cafe.

We have now completed just over 500 miles on our journey, with a staggering 5,000 to go. The task at times feels pretty daunting, but the Brothers Bike Team remains focused and passionate about why we are doing this ride.

We must find answers as to why 400 to 600 children die each year suddenly and with no known explanation. Only research will help us find the answers we seek. We must also make Haiti a better place for orphaned children.

This is why we ride and why we need your support. Please visit brothersbike.org and help us make a difference.
